UK Accelerator to Support Disabled Entrepreneurs With Business Growth
Foundervine, in collaboration with Lloyds, is running the Breakthrough accelerator for disabled entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses.
The eight-week accelerator will be delivered through a mix of virtual and in-person sessions from late September to early December 2026. It is designed to provide expert-led support, one-to-one mentoring, business development guidance and tailored advice on finance. The cohort will also take part in interactive masterclasses and join a peer network of founders with lived experience.
Participants will have access to a £21,000 grant funding pot alongside support intended to help develop and grow their ventures. The offer includes coaching, sector-specific mentoring and guidance on accessing grants, subsidies and accessible sources of finance. The accelerator concludes with a Showcase Day, where participants can pitch their ventures to investors and other backers.
A total of 25 places are available. The delivery is intended to be inclusive and accessible, with options to discuss individual accessibility requirements or additional support needs with the delivery team. Materials will use a dyslexia-friendly font, and presentation materials and transcripts will be provided for missed sessions. Participants can attend masterclasses live or via recorded sessions.
Applicants must have a UK-registered business that has been operating or trading for at least 18 months and can provide evidence of traction or revenue generation. Eligible businesses must have a turnover or raised investment of at least £70,000 and may operate in any industry. Applicants or team members should identify as disabled or neurodivergent, including physical, sensory, mental health, cognitive, or learning differences, with self-identification accepted.
