This is Shropshire Commissions

Vibrant Shropshire: a Cultural Compact secured funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to commission a programme of arts and cultural activities that make up a county-wide festival under the banner of ‘This is Shropshire’.

Thirteen separate commissions were made, twelve were worth a maximum of £5,000 for cultural activities that address various priorities. One commission was worth £15,000 was made for a multi-location programme, that breaks down barriers to participation and uses collaboration to engage more people in cultural activities in Shropshire.

Earlier this year the commission opportunities were put out to tender and applications closed on 9th June. Over 50 applications were received and through a selection process by the Vibrant Shropshire board, Vibrant Shropshire is delighted to announce the 13 cultural commissions that are now being delivered throughout Shropshire.
